Core: Add SEO Client Area Text Records

Introduction

This document explains the procedures for creating SEO Client Area Text records. These records provide the ability to customize area page text and SEO elements (<title>, <meta>, <h1> tags). G5 employees with the view_areasprivilege can manage these records in the Client Center. This change was implemented as a result of an NVA project [ref PT Stories #66878534 and #67263836 (story may have been deleted)].

Functionality

There are four main customizations available with this feature:

  1. Ability to override the <title> tag of an area page

  2. Ability to override the <h1> tag that renders text above the Google map

  3. Ability to add custom HTML markup that renders between the <h1> tag and the Google map

  4. Ability to add a custom <meta> description that renders in the <head>
